Our Process
We begin every project by gaining a deep understanding of your requirements and objectives. This crucial phase involves conceptualizing ideas that align with our collective vision and goals. At the heart of this process is our Programming Directives document, which serves as a comprehensive roadmap, detailing:
- Main AV signal flow and peripheral control diagrams
- User control requirements and UCI impact diagrams
- Inventory of all required components with peripheral control specifications
- Main Rack Stack(if required) signal flow including network switching & AC power is defined
- Presenter / Lectern Equipment Stack is defined
- User-centric hardware specifications (any customizations to mounts, racks, cables or installation hardware are identified)
- Alignment of the desired user experience with our Brand-Aware Extended Control™ Standards

This structured approach ensures clarity, precision, and alignment with your expectations from the very start.

Engineering & Testing
During the Engineering, Programming, and Testing phase, we define all major AV components and signal flows to maximize system performance and efficiency. Every system undergoes extensive testing to meet the highest standards of quality. We emulate your system using our lab network switches with AV production profiles, replicating your network schema to ensure a seamless plug-and-play experience upon installation.
Feedback is actively gathered and incorporated into the final design to optimize performance and user experience. Key tasks completed during this phase include:
- Developing Q-SYS schematics for all specified equipment and signal flows.
- Configuring all equipment and documenting it in our Network Worksheet, which is shared in the customer/partner area to maintain full transparency with your IT team.
- Implementing any User Control Interface (UCI) design additions or changes into our CSS stack.Conducting final full reboot tests to verify system stability and readiness.

This meticulous process ensures your system is fully prepared for deployment, delivering a reliable and exceptional AV experience.

Installation & Documentation
Our installation process is designed for maximum efficiency and precision.
We pre-build and rigorously test every component in-house before deployment, ensuring smooth on-site execution. Wire pulls are streamlined with our "Wire Pull by Location" document, which uses low-adhesion labels to clearly mark all components, guaranteeing accurate placement in the correct spaces and racks.
To promote seamless collaboration, we provide detailed Network Worksheets, single-page Visio drawings with rack allocation, and Wire Pull by Location and Ceiling Endpoint sheets. These resources ensure clear communication between our installation team and your network and technology teams, simplifying ongoing support and maintenance of your system.
For added efficiency and reduced travel, we recommend remote support for all Q-SYS systems. This is facilitated through QSC's Reflect™ Q-SYS Enterprise-Grade cloud monitoring platform or via VPN access to your media VLAN.
Our installations are not only professional and visually clean but are also thoughtfully designed for ease of serviceability, ensuring reliability and long-term performance.
